The opening roll in My University is a three-part lock. Location, ethos, and chef quality decide whether public buildings and stoves get paid before the canteen works. This list grades those parts. S tier: the only package

City campus plus Virtue (以德兴校) plus a level-4 chef is S. Virtue is the economic ethos. City traffic keeps early public shops from feeling like a village stall. The chef is a seed cook you park while forty stoves and the recipe lab finish. Reroll anything else unless you are writing a challenge article.

A tier: playable but slower

A city campus with Virtue and a weaker chef is A. You can still run the stove plan; you just lack a decent seed cook. A suburban site with Virtue is A-minus: shops work, just with less juice. Keep these only if you are tired of rerolling and you accept a slower canteen ramp.

B tier: novelty campuses

Non-Virtue ethos options belong in B. They photograph well and then starve the public-construction loop that year one depends on. A rural site with a great chef is still B because location taxes every shop tick. You can finish a decade. You will feel the tax every summer.

C and F: reroll

C is a mismatched trio you kept because the lawn looked pretty. F is any opening you refuse to reroll out of stubbornness while the ledger dies in year three. There is no hidden S-tier ethos that this wiki is gatekeeping. Player notes on TapTap have repeated the Virtue package since 2021. Patches through July 2026 did not replace it.

After the roll

Set course pressure near 400, accept the international teacher board, open public construction, skip the shuttle bus, and start stoves. That sequence is not a tier. It is the next page. Event clicks have their own event list. Buildings have a spend-order list. Codes will not save a bad opening; the codes hub will not pretend otherwise.

Official language is Chinese. The ethos name stays Virtue / 以德兴校 here so a search and a screenshot can meet. The campus is single-player. Nobody is racing your reroll except your own patience. Spend the patience on the title screen. It is cheaper than a ruined decade.

A challenge save that keeps a rural site on purpose should still open public shops and stoves in the same week. The grade does not change; the timeline just stretches. If you want that stretch documented, write it in your own notes rather than expecting this list to invent a hidden S-tier ethos. Player threads on TapTap have argued the same trio since the 2021 public test. July 2026 did not add a fourth lock. When a future client actually adds a new location or a new school spirit, this page will gain a row and the Updates Hub will say why. Until that happens, reroll like a principal who wants a kitchen, not like a tourist who wants a prettier loading screen. The review already told you the UI is Chinese.
